THERMAL IMAGING

See beyond what's visible. Thermal imaging uses specialized infrared technology to help identify temperature differences that may indicate hidden moisture, insulation deficiencies, or other potential concerns within your home.

Understanding What You Can't See

Not every concern in a home is visible to the naked eye. Thermal imaging allows me to take a closer look by detecting temperature differences that can't be seen during a traditional visual inspection.

Using a specialized infrared camera, I can evaluate walls, ceilings, floors, electrical components, plumbing areas, and other accessible parts of the home for unusual temperature patterns. These differences can sometimes point to potential concerns such as hidden moisture, missing or improperly installed insulation, air leakage, plumbing issues, or electrical components operating at higher temperatures than expected.

While thermal imaging doesn't allow me to see through walls or directly identify every hidden issue, it provides another valuable tool for investigating areas that may need a closer look. When unusual patterns are found, additional evaluation may help determine what's causing them.

My goal is to use thermal imaging alongside a standard visual inspection to gather more information, better understand potential concerns, and help you make informed decisions about your home.

01     Identify Hidden Concerns

Detect unusual temperature patterns that may indicate issues not visible during a standard inspection.

02   Investigate Moisture Concerns

Identify temperature differences that may warrant further evaluation for potential moisture intrusion.

04   Make Informed Decisions

Gain additional insight into your home's condition and identify areas that may need further attention.

03  Evaluate Insulation

Locate temperature irregularities that may suggest missing insulation or possible air leakage.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

A Closer Look Beyond the Surface

Thermal imaging uses an infrared camera to evaluate surface temperature differences in accessible areas of the home. These images can help identify unusual patterns that may indicate potential concerns requiring further investigation.

Depending on conditions and accessibility, thermal imaging may help evaluate:

  • Potential Moisture Intrusion

  • Insulation Gaps & Deficiencies

  • Possible Air Leakage

  • Unusual Wall & Ceiling Temperature Patterns

  • HVAC Temperature Irregularities

  • Potential Electrical Hot Spots

  • Areas of Heat Loss

  • Findings & Recommended Next Steps

See More Than Meets the Eye

Get a closer look at potential concerns that aren't always visible and gain a better understanding of your home's condition.
